More than 150 km of slopes for cross-country skiers
The avant-garde center of Lago di Tesero, the high-altitude slopes of the Passi Lavazè and Oclini and the route of the famous Marcialonga that crosses the valleys of Fiemme and Fassa.
The Val di Fiemme is the scene of some of the most important and sought-after events in the cross-country skiing landscape, which hosted the Nordic Skiing World Cups in 1991, 2003 and 2013 and which hosts the important stage of the Tour de Ski on the Alpe Cermis and the Marcialonga, a race that every year is entered by 7,500 participants and that crosses the valleys of Fiemme and Fassa for a total length of 70 km. The ideal territory for lovers of this sport can work hard and have fun in the valley and at various altitudes in the Dolomites, in the woods and in the avant-garde stadiums like that of Lago di Tesero.
The arrival of the Marcialonga is set up in a main Piazza in Cavalese every year with a closing party including fireworks, music and local delights. The track is available and ready from January in Predazzo. The Val di Fiemme is also part of the Cross Country Ski Holidays product club that promotes the Alpine resorts of excellence dedicated to cross-country skiing.
